About Timethan Floor Coating and How Matching Works
What Timethan Floor Coating Is
Timethan Floor Coating is a referral service for homeowners in Schaumburg and the Schaumburg area who want a garage or concrete floor coated. We connect you with independent local providers. The providers do the work. We do not.
Why It Is Set Up Like a Checklist
Floor projects can feel messy. There are products to learn, quotes to compare and a household to keep running. So we keep the steps short and in order. A short list also helps you spot a quote that skips something important, like prep or cure time.
How Matching Works
1. First, describe the floor. Tell us the size, the condition and what you want, such as epoxy garage floors or a polyaspartic finish. 2. Next, get matched. A provider in our network that serves your area can reach out. 3. Then, compare quotes. Ask for written estimates. 4. Last, plan around family life. Choose a time that causes the least disruption.
What to Have Ready
A few details make quotes easier to compare. Measure the floor if you can. Note any cracks, oil stains or old paint. Think about how you use the space, such as parking, a workshop or a play area. Take a few clear photos in good light. Providers can often give a firmer written quote when they see the same facts.
What We Ask of Providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to be clear about prep, products and price. We also ask them to explain timing so you can plan around school runs, work and parking. Check each provider's own licensing and insurance details yourself.
What Timethan Floor Coating Does Not Do
- We do not grind, patch or coat floors.
- We do not set your price.
- We do not choose a provider for you.
- We do not handle hardwood flooring installation or other work outside concrete coating and custom floor finishes.
How Timethan Floor Coating Makes Money
Homeowners are not charged by Timethan Floor Coating for a match. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. That fee does not change your quote. Costs vary by job, so get the price in writing before you agree to anything.
